No. The 23 signifies the tax year. You need to enter 539.52 as the amount.
Just enter code D - elective deferral to a 401K.
But do I put the amount too? I uploaded the w-2 and I filled $23 as the amount but that doesn’t sound right

I have the same problem with the D23. My W2 shows one amount under "D 23" and another amount with just "D". Turbo tax does not allow me to enter two entries under "D". Do i combine the amounts?
D23 refers to contribution to a 401k for 2023. You can combine the amounts or ignore the D23 amount.
Wouldn't combining the two amounts and ignoring the first amount constitute as reporting two different things?
No, this would not be construed as two different reporting since both year's retirement plans was contributed in 2024 by the employer.
I'm confused as well. My W2 has 3 D lines - D 22, D 23, and D. Did you say we could ignore the previous year contributions? Or shall I just add the 3 lines and include that combined sum?

Add all the lines from D22, D23 and D together and enter that sum in box 12 with the code of D
