@kimm748 we should have updated already... I guarantee that's what it is. I'm gonna call monday. I checked my state taxes and it said it was being processed and gave me a number to call.. which was the irs number.. so I know I have to I'd verify... No problem though.. I will verify tomorrow..

I ordered my transcripts on January 29th. I received them today. They show no tax return filed. Wmr shows that my return has been accepted and I have one bar. Since I believe I am a weekly and TurboTax shows estimated date of 2/12, which would be the 21 days I am hoping for an update this weekend.

@kimm748 I CALLED YESTERDAY AND HE VERIFIED ME.. THEN HE SAID THEY ARE GONNA SEND ME A LETTER AND I WILL BE VERIFIED AGAIN.. THEN I WILL BE PUT BACK IN PROCESSING... AS SOON AS MY BARS DISAPPEARED I KNEW I HAD TO ID VERIFY.. IT HAPPENS TO ME EVERY YEAR. IM GLAD I CALLED BEDORE 21 DAYS. LESS TIME I WILL HAVE TO WAIT.. I WILL RECEIVE THE LETTER BY SATURDAY. I WILL VERIFY THEN I SHOULD GET MY REFUND BY THE FOLLOWING WEEK... EASY MONEY...

I have not lost my bars so I think I'll see an update this upcoming weekend. I didn't think we could call until we were at the 21 days from date accepted.

@kimm748 YEA, IT TENDS TO HAPPEN MORE TO PEOPLE WHO FILE EARLY. I FILE EARLY EVERY YEAR AND IT HAPPENS TO ME... I HAVE ACTC AND EIC SO I HAVE TO WAIT ANYWAY. ITS EASY AND ONCE YOU VERIFY, YOU SHOULD GET A UPDATE A FEW DAYS LATER ABD YOUR REFUND NO MORE THAN A WEEK AFTER.. NO BIGGY... KEEP ME POSTED ON WHAT THEY SAY WHEN YOU CALL TODAY...

@titto20356 I don't remember if it happened to me last year. I know it did in 2016 for 2015 because I had an offset and needed to ID verify. Any way I was able to order transcripts on Saturday when the bars disappeared. I can still see everything except the bars are gone.

I feel like my deposit came pretty quick in 2017. Deposit received on 1/31/2017.

So anyway when I called today the IRS wouldn't look up my information. She was happy and very pleasant to speak with. She said that they didn't start processing until 1/29 so the 21 days is from that date, not the date accepted on 1/22. She said that the bars are disappearing a lot and they are receiving calls all day long. She said there's nothing to worry about. I have my fingers crossed for a DD of this week or next. Maybe since they disappeared on Saturday it will update again and change to approved on this Saturday? Who knows .... I'm still hopeful .... and really could use the deposit this week.  🙂

@titto20356 received letter 4464c yesterday. I'm hoping that they just needed to verify my income since it was reduced from years past. I called and spoke with a lovely woman who said that it hasn't been 21 days since I was accepted. She said they did not start processing returns until 1/29; that the 21 days would be the 20th since they are closed on Monday the 19th. She said she can't look anything up for me yet. She said not to worry that WMR is showing changes and some strange or different messages for people. If I don't update tomorrow then I will be calling first thing on Tuesday. Although I've had to ID verify in the past I've never received a letter like this before.
