Hi, I am having trouble properly submitting my 1099-R this year, but in previous years have had no issue. I manually filled it out since my provider isn't linked to TurboTax. Notably, my values for (1) and (5) match and are correct, while my (2a) is 0 and (7) is G. So from my understanding, this should all be correct for a "mega back door roth" 401k -> roth IRA after-tax contribution direct rollover thing. However, after I fill out all my income/deductions section, my "Retirement Income Results" is "Traditional and Roth IRA Distributions: $0", while "Pensions and anuity distributions: $x" where x is my rollover amount.
So regardless, I'm understanding that this amount is untaxable, so my tax return should be unaffected. I also understand from some previous posts that direct rollover from 401k will always still be considered income on turbotax. However, what is confusing is why it's listed as under pensions. I just want to understand if there are any negative consequences for filing this way, and if there is a way to fix this if possible.
TIA!
