(Edit. Similar issue, but the highlighted TT was not the same as physical 1099 form.) It confused me. I think I figured out what the problem was but can’t check it yet.

What if I am getting the error but box 2a is not blank?
Enter the amount showing in Box 2a as the state distribution amount.
Thank you! This was a real pain because Turbotax would not do the efile until this was fixed.
