Husband and I are dual military, I don't have to file for state taxes but he does, why do i have to fill out his state on my return?

Turbo tax wont let me continue unless i fill out his state even though i dont need to file a tax return for my state

To clarify, are you filing Married Filing jointly or Married Filing Separately? If filing jointly, you would need to file a state return in your tax return even though you don't have a state filing requirement.

Why is my return being denied stating my EIN number is incorrect? I've triple checked them and they are accurate according to my paperwork.
