Answer "Yes" if you paid more than 50% of your total living expenses. The only reason you would say no is if your parents, relative, or someone else paid for more than 50% of your living expenses. Military income and housing totally counts as toward you supporting yourself. This question is just determining if you can be considered a dependent on someone else's return.
