Why is my $3,000 carry over loss of capital gains changed this year?
Did you have capital gains to use it up? Have you been carrying it over and that is the last of it? We can't see your forms so you need to look at your sch D and determine what has happened. You may need to look at the worksheets to get to the bottom of the situation.
To print or view your forms, including all worksheets:
- In desktop, switch to Forms Mode.
- For online:
- On the left side, select Tax Tools
- Select Print center
- Select Print, save or preview this year's return
- If you have not paid, select pay now.

Why is my $3,000 carry over loss of capital gains changed this year?
This answer doesn’t help at all. Of course I already new all that. No, I didn’t have any gains, this year to off set my $35,000+ loss carry over. Nor am I at the end of my carry over. Your dam AI doesn’t know how to answer any specific questions, all Turbo Tax wants for me to pay “one of your experts “to tell me how messed up your computers are with the AI. And I guess it won’t be fixed before April 15. Tomorrow I will try someone else’s program and see if it will do it correctly and after more than 20 years, will never use Turbo Tax again and hopefully many frustrated Turbo Tax users will do the same! Great way to ruin Turbo Tax!
