In the last few 1040s, there were no depreciation schedules for my rental properties. Are they no longer required for 1040?

The depreciation schedule is not an IRS form; so it is not one of the official forms sent to the IRS. The IRS does not want them (you submitted an IRS form 4562 the year you started depreciation). TurboTax (TT) does still prepare the depreciation schedule as a worksheet, for you records. You will find it in the list of forms abbreviated as “depr report”.
