State return error due to missing apartment number

TurboTax will not allow me to Efile my state return because of a missing apartment number, but I live in a house. I am unable to do anything to fix this.  Is there some workaround with this issue or do I just have to file my return by mail?

Please clarify. What state are you referring to?

Try using Apt 1.

Please review all entries on the return, as something checked is prompting the program to believe an apartment number is needed. 

We are unable to view your return here in this public forum, if you would like you can follow the instructions here, and speak with an agent by phone who will be able to view the return.

The problem is that I have checked every possible thing I can and there is nothing that should prompt the state return to require an apartment number. I have updated my address over and over again to see if it will change something but it will not. At this point I'm about to just file my return by mail. Super awesome that this is what I'm going to have to do because of an issue with the software.

I also like that your asking me to call or speak with an agen which will require me to upgrade and pay more money because there is an issue with your software. Great business model.

You do not have to upgrade your Turbo Tax product to contact us at customer support so we can further assist you.

The way to clear the error is to put "na" in the box for an apartment number.
