Stock dividends (except those received in a qualified retirement plan) are taxable income, even if they are reinvested.

In TurboTax, open your return and follow these steps:
• Click on Federal Taxes, then on Wages and Income
• Under All Income, locate the Interest and Dividends section
• Click Show more and click Start next to Dividends on 1099-DIV.
