If you are in the Rental Income and Expenses section of your return trying to enter rental income, then you must indicate the location (address) of the property that was rented. This would be required if you rented a portion of the home that you own.
For example, if you rent a spare bedroom or basement apartment that is part of your home, you will need to enter your home address for the location of the property that was rented in 2021.

NO...NO...NO
We are in the Rental Income section because TT is putting us there because we either
'owned home AND rented a lot' or 'rented'..No way to say 'I own this property and don't
want to claim a renters credit.. BUG in TT..
If you are in the Rental Income and Expenses section, it is because TurboTax thinks you are renting out property you own. There are no tax credits for renting on your federal return. Some states have renter credits, but there are none on the federal return. If you do not rent out your property, then you do not need to enter anything in that section.
Delete any entries you have in the Rental Property section unless you are renting out your property. The following is a description of what type of income and expenses are entered into that section. @rsvgcash
What kind of income gets entered into the Rentals and Royalties Properties section?
If you are receiving income from renting a lot you own, that income does get reported in the Rental Property section. If you own rental real estate, you should be aware of your federal tax responsibilities. All rental income must be reported on your tax return, and in general the associated expenses can be deducted from your rental income. Tips on reporting rental income.
I had the same problem..got a solution from another member that worked.
You have to go through the 'rental' form..in 'address of property you rented'
make it blank, enter the SCAN number, then enter '0' months rented. If you
can get to Done with State, then e-file now, go the left of the screen,
go to 'tools', then select delete forms. At the bottom of that screen you'll see
form FormRCC146...delete that, then file the return..worked for me.
