Turbotax Desktop ask that I verify my account number has been enter correctly

In Turbotax Desktop, when I try to do direct debit from my bank when trying to pay federal taxes. I enter my checking account number (9 digits) and cannot move to the next step (state) because it keeps asking me to verify my account number has been enter correctly. What should I do?
