This is also an issue with Mac version. I am on Application 2022.r25.055. Fidelity netbenefits username/pwd fails, whereas Fidelity Investment asks for some stupid setup and even after completing that setup, it opens a tab that does nothing. All this while I am logged into Fidelity well and good.
It's completely unacceptable to not be able to import from a widely used brokerage like Fidelity. If you can not fix this, please issue a refund. What a serious waste of time

When I import Merrill Edge 1099 every thing works fine. When I try Fidelity the ID and Password boxes don't appear. Is there a glitch in Turbo Tax 2024 ?
I would look at your 1099 from Fidelity, the only 1099 active for us is a simple 1099 DIV for some long term stocks. Everything else is supposedly available on 3/27 ( I noticed there is prelimanary data available toward your dividends but no gains or losses yet) . As to our other account with Interactive Brokers nothing will be available as of mid March, this has been the case for both for the past 10 years.
In this particular case, "Success" meant "Failure". I tried another browser and got the same message, but this time the interface also showed the list of 1099's, and they were properly imported. I struggle with this import every year - TT needs to clarify the interface and do a better job of detecting and reporting problems.
Consider yourself lucky, 3 years ago TT had a major problem and had 24 pages of complaints. Nothing would work no 1099's would download until figured out that you needed to download all your work to the website and than download to your TT. Issue left a very bitter taste since resolved in early April. I would like to have things done earlier even with the K1's coming in dribs and drabs first week of April.
Agreed. Maybe TT could spend a bit less time awarding us "badges" for reporting problems and a bit more time addressing them.
EDIT: and I was awarded the "10 Posts' badge for this post. Wow!
Fidelity Brokerage information not being imported. Requested import files show up in a list with green check marks as being imported and have the correct dollar amounts. However, after clicking continue when the information is reviewed, there are no dollar amounts for interest in the review forms. No problems logging into intuit or Fidelity. The review forms in Turbo Tax have been changed this tax year (2024). I really don't want to enter them manually.
Still getting this error when attempting to import from Fidelity.
Try double-clicking on Fidelity in the search results window. Here's How to Turn Off Anti-Virus Programs.
maybe TT behaves differently on Macintosh; nothing happens when double clicking on Fidelity investments in the search results window and I still get the same error when clicking continue.
there are several other investment firms (all ones I don't use) that let me continue, and some that get the same error.
other than Apple os built in protection/security there is no other virus protection installed.
