Are regular capital gains entered on California state taxes under "Regulated Investment Company (IRC) Capital Gains Earned (in federal income)"?

This sounds right to me, too! 

Since those CGDs are not listed as either distributed or undistributed, I gather the 1099 considers them all current year distributions.  And I never got that Federal form 2439. 

So no entry. 

I guess it was the word "earned" that threw me.
