NJ resident in 2017 I spent 2018 abroad while having a rental income in FL. Do I need to file any state taxes in NJ/FL or is the rental income on my federal taxes enough?

I'm not working abroad just living off the rental income from Florida.

Florida does not have an income tax, so no need to file there. I am not sure if you are a resident or a non-resident of New Jersey. It is a little complicated. Look at the chart in the screenshot or go to the link (page 3):

Claimed my boyfriend as dependent on accident then he couldn’t file his taxes,I filed for amend federal tax return, paid money back. So why can’t he do his taxes still?
