My daughter and son-in-law live with me and pay "rent" - do I claim this $$?

This would be "not-for-profit" income; we shared actual rental costs before my husband and I bought the house.  I still have to claim as income, correct?

Sounds more like only family members sharing costs and not rent.

No, your daughter and son-law are just paying their way for you allowing them to stay under your roof.  The money they are paying you is providing them with a roof over their heads, paying their share of the utilities, providing food for them, etc... This would not go on your tax return.
