Is late fee for rent belong to rent income?

Yes, late fees collected will be included in rental income. Just include that amount with your "Rental Income."

Other examples of Rental Income include (but are not limited to):

  • Rent paid by your tenants
  • Security deposits that you kept
  • Repairs made by tenants in exchange for lower rent
  • Personal goods and services exchanged for lower rent
