If I skip certain sections when I come back can I go back say to rental expenses and edit things?

Yes, you can go back to the rental expenses section using the instructions below:

  1. With your return open in TurboTax, search for rentals and then click the "Jump to" link in the search result.
  2. Answer Yes to the question Did you want to review your rental and royalty information?
  3. Click Continue
  4. On the Rental and Royalty Summary Screen, Click Edit next to your rental.
  5. Proceed through the interview to update your rental information.
