If I already entered my mortgage interest as part of my rental property expense do I enter the interest amount again in the Turbotax deductions & credits section?

No, don't enter it in two different places.  If the mortgage interest was for the rental property, then you correctly entered it in the rental section.  If you have interest for a personal home, that's what you would enter in the Deductions and Credits section.
