I receive rental income from Reno, Nevada. Nevada has zero state tax, but my state of residence is taking taxing me on this income. How do I correct this?

Nothing to correct, unfortunately. States with an income tax will tax any income their residents have, no matter where it comes from (even overseas).

If you had to pay NV tax on the NV rental income, your home state would have still taxed the income but would have given you a credit for whatever you paid to NV.
