I have a 1099-DIV but did not take any monies were taken out do i report it?

I have a 1099-DIV but did not take any monies were taken out do i report it?

You would report the 1099-DIV by using the following menu tabs in TurboTax:

  1. Income and expenses
  2. Interest and Dividends
  3. Dividends on 1099-DIV

It doesn't matter that you didn't receive the proceeds from the dividends, if they were reported to you then they must have been used to purchase additional stock, in which case they are taxable to you.
