Since you have stock sales to report, you will have to use the Premier version of TurboTax Online.   If you use TurboTax Desktop, you could use Basic or Deluxe, but you won't get any step by step program help with your stock sales unless you use Premier.

If you qualify  AND   if you wait until mid January  THEN you can use one of  the 10 IRS FREE FILE options to file a fed & state return for free ... but you must be patient.    https://www.irs.gov/filing/free-file-do-your-federal-taxes-for-free
