Yes, you can. If the information is available to import, you'll have to import each brokerage/financial company one at a time. See How do I import my 1099?

How to download dividends and capital gains from several brokerage accounts

My husband and I both have Fidelity accounts.  I have downloaded my 1099's with no problem.  When I try to download his (different account numbers, different account registration, different account names, Turbotax doesn't seem to give me the opportunity to enter HIS account ID, and just shows me that mine have already been downloaded.   How do I download his?  (I've done this for several years with no problem.  This year its a problem.)

Yes, you can import multiple 1099-Bs into TurboTax.  After completing the first import for Fidelity, you will click add another 1099-B and follow these steps:

  1. Select your brokerage or a financial institution from the list to import your husband's form.
  2. Enter your sign-in credentials for your husband's account
  3. then select Get my form

If your credentials are the same as when you imported the first 1099-B, you should have been asked to import all forms.

If you can not get the import to work, here is a link to some troubleshooting ideas:

What if I can't import my 1099-B?

Thanks for the fast response.  The problem is that when I go to get my husband's 1099 info, and choose Fidelity (the same brokerage as mine), the program skips over the step asking for his userid and password credentials, and then shows me the forms already downloaded from my account.

This is the first year where TurboTax has done the extra step of having me log in from a different page.  Since I've never had this problem before, could there be a glitch in the program not recognizing that there could be two different users filing a joint return?

(I know I could probably manually enter his info in less time than I've spent on this issue, but Turbotax is usually so perfect, that this problem has me frustrated.)

This issue has come up recently, and we have been notified that clearing your cache and cookies has fixed the problem for other users.  Can you try clearing the cache and cookies and let us know if it corrected the problem if you are using the online version.  If using Desktop you can log in using a different user account as a workaround.  If neither option works and you do not want to wait for a fix, the issue's workaround would be to enter manually.  To enter manually, you will follow these steps in TurboTax Online:

  1. Click Wage and Income
  2. Click Edit/Add next to Investments and Savings (1099-B, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-K, Crypto)
  3. Click Add Investments
  4. Click Continue
  5. Click Enter a different way
  6. Click 1099-B, Click Continue
  7. Enter info as it appears on the 1099-B

Thanks.  I just did it manually.    Hopefully next year it'll work better.
