Thanks but in this case there is a technical issue with Turbotax. Going into my 1099B sale, it showed an edit button but no delete button. Just spent an hour with one of their customer help people. I ended up having to delete the whole set of entries, rather than just one, and started over.
Please follow these steps to delete a stock sale:

Delete a stock sale from quicken download still not working properly as of today - deleting one sale resulting in creation of duplicate sale to one of the other sales.
I have the same problem. Somehow one sale got doubled in the import. I tried to delete the extra stock sale and got multiples instead. The only way I can seem to fix it is to put zeros in the multiple excess lines. It still comes up on the form but at zero so at least it doesn't affect the totals anymore. Apparently, there is a bug in the program that Intuit needs to fix. There are too many sales for me to delete the entire list and enter manually.
This is a known issue.
See the TurboTax Help article Why are my imported 1099-B's showing duplicates that I can’t delete? to sign up for progress updates.
The above described problem was fixed as of today, thanks
Also it would be nice if you could select multiple investment sales and delete all at once not only edit them in bulk...
I sure don’t like the 2024 TurboTax. How do I delete a stock sales as it’s in the program twice.
You can delete a stock sale by going back to your Form 1099-B entries:
The delete button is there ! Some of the fields are too small and when you click edit, click on the box and scroll right and you will see a delete button. Found out the hard way after somehow creating a duplicate stock sale.
