You do not need to enter your Tax ID Number for rental income (Schedule E) unless you are filing a business return for your company.

If your tax identification number is associated with a Corporation, S-Corporation, LLC or other form of corporation requiring a business return, then you would need to use our TurboTax Business program to file that return.
