I keep getting error message when trying to import brokerage tax forms for 2022. The message says Edward Jones: The system did not recognize the user ID or password. Please try again.
I called Turbotax, and was told to try again in a few days. After continuing to get this error I contacted EJ advisor. They contacted corporate and I was told I should change my password to a simple 8 digit password temporarily. I tried this and still get the same error message. I've cleared history, cache, and still same result.
I do not want to manually enter the data. Any other suggestions? I do not have problems importing data from EJ to Quicken. HELP

Over the years I have also had difficulty importing from Edward Jones three or four times. In every case an Edward Jones representative was able to assist me over the phone and everything then worked. I suggest for you to call them back and request assistance again.
When they have assisted you in the past, was it anything specific they had you do?
did you get any resolution to your issue downloading EDJones into TurboTax. i am experiencing that now
yes, the EDJ branch administrator was able to help. I had to temporarily change my password to a simple one before downloading. The corporate office was helpful in making changes behind the scenes. Was finally able to import. Good luck!
Yes, This year had no trouble. In past years I had to wait until 15 March to get everything.
