MFJ. My wife and I had separate taxable brokerage accounts at Tastyworks, holding the same ETF in the same quantity. We sold some to harvest tax losses.
I imported tax data from tastyworks, separately for each account. There are 2 1099-Bs with the respective tastyworks account numbers. They are correctly identified as taxpayer vs spouse because I edited the form directly.
The sale details created capital asset sale worksheets, but they're both attached to a 1099-B having my account number. There is another copy of 1099-B having my wife's account number but no sale asset worksheet.
Do I need to move the sale details to the 2nd 1099-B? How do I do that?

If you are filing a joint return, and all of the sales transaction information is otherwise accurately captured on the return, you don't need to move sale details to another Form 1099-B.
See this article for more information regarding Form 1099-B.

For what it's worth I have the same problem. I imported my tax information and the Cap Asset Sales showed up under a different 1099-B account. Maybe you can pass the problem along to Intuit to fix. Taxes are difficult enough without having the tax program making it more complicated. Thanks...
