@tmetcalf, you should be able to remove Audit Defense from your taxes before you e-file. If you are using TurboTax Desktop, please see the steps below:

To remove Audit Defense from the order you need to click on File at the top of the desktop program screen.
Click on File a Return or Continue.
Go through the steps of the File section until you arrive on the Payment screen.
Under the price for Audit Defense click on the blue Remove link.

My version ordered was/is with the California state.
I did not remove the future audit fees from the purchase as I didn’t know, nor would there be any expectation that any additional charge would be added when I purchased the software. The idea that I need to remove or decline a charge in the future that I don’t know needs to be removed when purchasing the software is ridiculous.

Don’t want it need it nor did I ever agree to buy it.

I need to file please have it removed immediately so I can file this is delaying my filing.

You are going to explain further about what you did.

Only you can file a tax return by clicking on the large Orange button labeled "Transmit my returns now".

The current tax year being filed is 2020. The TurboTax online editions are only for tax year 2020.

Tax year 2021 cannot be filed until the year ends after 12/31/2021.

A 2019 tax return can only be printed and mailed using the TurboTax desktop software installed on a personal computer.

I need help amending my 2020 Federal Taxes as I did not receive certain tax credits, child tax credits that I should have received. It also says that I paid for the free version of turbo tax, which is not true, I paid $120. I paid $40 for federal, $40 for state and $40 to file. I don’t know how these error went unnoticed, it’s part of turbo tax 100 percent guarantee. I received an email from turbo tax saying that I could amend it, but when I try it states something is being worked on on turbo taxes end

I did sign up for that update and received an email from turbo tax saying that I was now able to amend my return, but it still will not let me process.
