I have a little part time self employed business.  I paid $11,332.56 in health ins premiums for 2025, This includes, Obamacare premiums plus part of the subsidy I had to pay them back ($9238) and 2026's Jan premium paid in Dec 2025 of $2069.  I entered January's premium in the expenses for my self employed business.  I asked this question on the forum and I successfully follow the replied answer.  I did not enter any health ins premiums anywhere else and I do not file Sch A.  I entered the 1095-A thru the Turbotax interview questions.  Form 7206 line 14, shows the January premium of $2069.  It says to enter this number on Schedule 1, line 17.  The number on Sch 1, line 17 is $11307, and I am not able to change it.  There is a note at the bottom of form 7206 saying "a self employed health ins adjustment of  $9238 from premiums paid through an exchange is included as an adjustment to income but does not appear on these worksheet".  Where is that adjustment?  Should any of my forms show the $11333 number for all of our 2025 premiums paid for health ins.  I am trying to understand where the deductions for health ins appear or even where the $9238 exchange premiums are deducted.  I do not see the $9238 number anywhere except as the footnote at the bottom of Form 7206.  Is Schedule 1, line 17 suppose to include both the exchange premiums and the expense premiums?  My income from my business is higher than the insurance premiums and I have no other expenses for my business.
at the beginning I signed the forms before starting my taxes. my return is zero and i am not eligible to efile. It will not let me change it to mail. It keeps asking for credit card information

Almost had this happen to me as well.  I guess Turbo Tax is trying to scam people now! I couldn’t figure out how to remove the online expert for through the app. I found the only option is to login through the website and from there you can go to the tools page and select switch product, then you can downgrade to the free version from there.  What a scam!

If Turbo Tax thinks you need to pay estimated payments it will download and print out the 4 quarterly 1040ES payment slips (which are optional to pay).   You can either mail in the 1040ES slip with a check or pay the IRS directly online.       Print out  your tax return,   https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/saving/help/how-do-i-save-my-turbotax-online-return-as-a-pdf/00/26234   The four 1040ES quarterly estimates are due April 15, 2026 June 15, 2026 Sept 15, 2026 Jan 15, 2027 Your state will also have their own estimate forms.

This has been an issue in TurboTax for years. This is how I've accounted for the Safe Harbor and it allows you to explain the additional amount to your state income tax listed on box 5a of Form 1040, Schedule A. 1. Go to forms. 2. Select: State Tax Ded (worksheet) 3. On Line 17: Other Override description and enter "Charitable Contributions made in exchange for State Tax Credit (SALT Safe Harbor) Override box 17 and enter the SALT Safe Harbor amount you are claimi
To go back to a lower version or the Free Edition you can try to clear and start over https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/using-turbotax/help/how-do-i-clear-and-start-over-in-turbotax-online/00/26444 ... See more...
To go back to a lower version or the Free Edition you can try to clear and start over https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/using-turbotax/help/how-do-i-clear-and-start-over-in-turbotax-online/00/26444 To Downgrade to Free If you started your tax return in TurboTax Free Edition (Form 1040 with limited credits; roughly 37% of taxpayers qualify), you won't need to clear and start over. You can select Switch to Free Edition instead. In the Turbo Tax Free Edition, information that you can enter is limited now.  Why do I have to upgrade from the Free Edition? https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/upgrading/help/why-do-i-have-to-upgrade-from-free-edition/00/26379 Or try the IRS Free File program https://www.irs.gov/filing/free-file-do-your-federal-taxes-for-free A couple reasons it could be saying you need to upgrade…. You might be seeing this because of form 8959, that goes to Schedule 2. The amount of Medicare taxes withheld in W2 box 6 is not exactly 1.45% of the Medicare wages in box 5, due to rounding. I read a post that said to try leaving the cents off of the Medicare tax on your W2 box 6. Box 6 has to be exactly 1.45% of box 5 or less. If it is saying you need Schedule 3 and can't use the Free Edition it might be giving you the Retirement Savings Credit. You can say you are a student to decline the credit. You must answer Yes when asked in the Retirement Savings Contributions Credit section if your were a full-time student. The answer to this same question asked in the personal-information section is not the answer that is used.
What do you mean by print out the 4 quarterly estimated slips? I do know I need to pay them I just need to know if I need to file something in Turbotax and where that estimated number went.

I followed all the suggested steps, but there is still no option to enter my non-employer HSA contributions. This appears to be a product bug. Please investigate and fix this issue urgently. If this prevents accurate filing and results in lost tax benefits, it raises serious concerns.   Multiple users have reported the same problem, yet support responses remain generic and do not resolve it. ------------------------------------------------------   The Health Savings Account (HSA) section of TurboTax includes information about distributions from your HSA as well as contributions to the HSA.     Use the following steps to go to that section of your return:   Go to the Deductions & Credits section Scroll down to the HSA, MSA section Click Start or Update Be sure to check the box that you have an HSA account Go through the screens asking about receiving Form 1099-SA reporting distributions Next, you will be asked about  contributions  that were made to your HSA, either by you or through payroll deductions.  (This box is just below the amount that was reported on your W-2 in box 12 with code W)
