No.  If you did not receive a 1099-INT from that bank, then you will need to delete the form.  You can do this by clicking the trash can next to the 1099-INT.  Entering a 0 will lead to an error when you go to file your return.   If you did receive some interest from the bank, but not enough for them to generate a 1099-INT, you can report it by selecting the following: Federal Less common income Miscellaneous Income Other Reportable income then enter interest for the description and enter the amount you received.

Thank you for your response, unfortunately the software is not loading that form for me. I called in and shared my screen and the two couldn't get it to load either. We tried deleting my 1099 and rentering it and it still would not load. The rep stayed here would escalate, but I've heard nothing back from anyone about it.

2/12/2026 - 4:00am / Received updates to Federal and State.  I wish they would be specific as to the updates.  So, I went to my Form 4562 to check if the year to the far right of the form said "2025" instead of "2024" as it said Year 2024 to far right when I thought I was finished with taxes.  Upon review of my taxes, TT says all is accurate, no errors.  The year does say 2025 and so I thought the form was ready.  I went to check the depreciation and amortization section and I am still receiving the message, "We're updating this section for latest tax laws.  You can continue and skip it for now and work on other parts of your return."  Can someone tell me whether the update is available?  Why am I not seeing an error when TT checks for accuracy?  I tried to see if there was an additional update just now, manually and it says my software is up to date.

February 20th or more likely 21st Turbo taxsaid  the fixed 3rd party import option should be available and updated for 1099-DA (main reason update was required).   I agree terribly inconvenient especially if you could receive a refund to reallocate the money to much cheaper digital assets, stocks,  or any other sounds money option aside from holding fiat, since the asset markets are bleeding so heavily at the moment.  Timing is important and this has been a terrible inconvenience.

Nine states — Alaska, Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington and Wyoming — have no state income taxes.   As your state Tennessee has no state income tax, it is not in the drop down menu of Box 15 of form W-2. Just leave boxes 15 and 16 blank even if TN is listed in box 15 and/or box 16 is filled with an amount on your form W-2.
Please follow the instructions in this TurboTax Help article to access your tax return so you can view or print it.
It says "Start For Free". But I do not wish to start on Expert Assist. What is this, to be forced away from the basic product? If so, I will leave Turbo Tax

There is no confidential information on this board.  Why 2-factor verification?  And the capatcha takes too long -- I had to try 5-10 times before it let me pass.  Are you wanting to turn off the 2-factor authorization that you log in with?    That's not recommended since the same log-in credentials used for this user community forum are also the log-in credentials that many people use for their Intuit Account.  And the Intuit Account can contain sensitive information including tax returns that might have been filed in that account.   So if you turn it off for this board, it will also be off for the rest of your Intuit Account.   But it is configurable as explained below:   If you are you sure you want to do that, however, you can log into your Online TurboTax account, and in the left menu column scroll way down and click the tab Intuit Account.    Then once at the account settings click the tab "Sign in and security." You should see the authentication options.
