"missing a cpl things?"   The letter tells you what to do about it. Only you can do it. Meanwhile IRS is waiting.   @rhodadoherty102874

Yes, this is possible. If you want to downgrade, on the left menu select Switch Products, then Downgrade.  If downgrade button isn’t offered in Review your order, you must use Clear & Start Over to change products, but only if you haven’t paid yet. This will erase your work.

They lost me completely as a customer for next year. I made $4,000 last year, gotta pay $139 to TurboTax to file, and I owe $666 in Taxes and can barely afford it.   Time for a federal payment plan, and a new tax service! God bless America, or something like that.

Until TT fixes the root issue, what I did was go to IRA Contrib Wks Form and on Line 19, update the amount to $0 with a note that no regular contributions were made.  In the QTP-to-Roth Rollover limit Smart Worksheet, this changed lines e (ex. QTP to Roth) and i (ATP to Roth rollover in excess of limit) to $0 as they should be and correctly updated lines 23, 24 & 27 to $0.   This has removed the 529 to Roth amount from taxable income.

"5 days early" means you are supposed to receive your federal refund from one to five days sooner than the refund date shown on the IRS refund site.   If it does not meet that "at least one day sooner" date, they are supposed to refund the $35 fee.   You have to pay attention to the date on the IRS refund site. You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2025 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:    https://www.irs.gov/refunds

I received the same thing when doing my 2025 Federal return.  I signed onto the Federal IRS website to view my 2024 return and it hasn't been uploaded by the IRS yet.  Guess the Federal workers are overworked. LOL. I resolved the issue by making my AGI "0" and my efile was accepted.  I believe the IRS website is where the validation is occurring so even though the AGI from last year is correct there is nothing to compare it to.

Yes, this would be considered a cash donation for charitable contributions on itemized deductions. The deduction can only be for actual expenses paid for the youth that attend  any fishing guides provided by your husband.    While he cannot claim a tax deduction for the value of his time or services, he can deduct out-of-pocket expenses directly related to volunteering, such as mileage or materials purchased.   There is no deduction in the business section of your return for this expense.

Merci
