1. Are your birthdates correct?   2. Did you indicate that you and your spouse had qualifying HDHP coverage all year?  You should indicate you both had coverage, even if one spouse was covered under the other's policy.   3. The $1000 catch-up can only be contributed to an account in the taxpayer's own name.  HSAs are individual accounts, they are never joint.  If you and your spouse were both covered by family HDHP insurance all year, then the $8550 can be split any way you want but the $1000 catchup only goes in each one's own account.  So you could contribute $9550 and your spouse $1000, or you could contribute $5275 each, but you can't contribute $10,550 to a single account.   4. Did you enter workplace contributions as if they were out of pocket contributions?  That can create an apparent excess contribution.  Workplace contributions are only entered automatically via your W-2, never separately.  Only separately list contributions you made out of pocket.   5. If these things don't fix it, try deleting form 8889-T and 8889-S and then run the HSA interviews again.

Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing or the timing when the IRS releases your refund.    Your refund could be offset. The IRS and State Governments have the ability to offset a refund to pay for certain past due debts.  You generally will receive a letter stating what the offset was for.    The IRS provides a toll-free number, (800) 304-3107, to call for information about tax offsets.   Here are a few FAQs to help you track your refund: When will I get my federal tax refund? How do I track my state refund? Why does Where's My Refund say "approved" but TurboTax still says "accepted"? Why do some refunds take longer than others? What if my IRS refund is taking longer than 21 days?
We'd love to help you complete your tax return, but need more information. Can you please clarify your question?

Yes, if your return hasn't been accepted, it's as if it hasn't been filed.

Home improvements are not tax deductible.  You add the cost of improvements (but not repairs) to your cost basis, which may reduce your capital gains tax when you sell.

If your Schedule C business has income sourced only in New Hampshire, that activity should not be included on your non-resident Massachusetts tax return. Since NH has no personal income tax, your Schedule C would be shown only on your federal tax return.

We can't see your return in this forum, but there's a couple things you can do if you think your state return is incorrect.  If your situation is about the same as last year, you could compare last year's return with this year's to scan for differences.  Stepping through the state interview from the beginning to end is also useful, and running the State Review.     If you had more state tax withheld this year, you may have a larger refund and all is correct.   @jespinoza677

Here is how to find and use the bank link feature for your 2025 return.   The link option typically appears after you have finished entering your business income. Go to Wages & Income and select Self-Employment Income and Expenses. Click Edit/Review next to your business. Continue through the screens until you reach the "Your [Business Name] info" summary page. Scroll down to the Expenses section. Look for a blue button or link that says "Connect My Accounts" or "Import Expense Transactions." If you already started entering expenses manually or if the business was imported from last year, the "Connect" button might not be there. To get around this you can: Create a "dummy" business. Select Add another line of work. Give it a temporary name and enter $1 of income. When you move to the Expenses section for this new work, the "Connect Accounts" button should reappear. Once you import your transactions and categorize them, you can move them to your "real" business and delete the dummy one.

Thank you for your token. I do notice that Federal QBI information does not populate into your Idaho return.  As a result, I have spent the past hour trying to reconcile this with no success. The Idaho QBI entry is hard-coded as "0" when you view this in the Idaho return and cannot be changed.    I have checked all the laws and statues and you should be allowed this deduction as it would make an impact on your Idaho State Return. My suggestion is to override the QBI Smart Worksheet on Form 43 by entering 43,121 in line 1&2 and mail it. I know you would rather efile it, but after looking at your return, there is no way to reconcile it, which includes QBI, other than mailing the return.

You do have to enter the 1099-SA into TurboTax and there is a field for the EIN, so yes, you will need it.   But it may not be a mandatory field.     Your contributions come from your W-2, so those will be counted.   When you enter the 1099-SA, you will tell TurboTax that the full distribution was for medical expenses (assuming it was) so the amount on the 1099-SA is not taxed.    You can try to enter a dummy EIN in TurboTax and attempt to e-file.   If it rejects, you can go back to them and request the EIN, only if necessary.
