As you go through your Maryland return, you will get to a screen Maryland Wage Income.  In the Wages From Maryland Sources box, you would enter the amount of your Maryland wages that you earned while living in Texas.   When you get to your Virginia return, you will get to a screen Part-Year Allocation where you can subtract the amount of income from the Federal Total that you allocated to Maryland as a Texas resident.  This way, you are not taxed in Virginia on the income taxed by Maryland for your period of residence in Texas.

Delete your State Return and then re enter to see if this might help.    Open your return. In the left-hand menu, select State Taxes. On the "Status of your state returns" screen, look for your state (e.g., Minnesota). Click the trash can icon or the Delete link next to the state name. Confirm that you want to delete the state. Close your return to save the change. Re enter your state return
Yes, the numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4 are for medical expenses, but in the initial post, you wrote 1A, 2A, and 3A, which are on Page 2 of AZ Schedule A, and they refer to state taxes. Go look.

"Error 2"  I received the same error over multiple days, on multiple returns, with TT closures, updates and re-checking it and my forms for errors over and over again, with nothing helping.  I also checked for virus and firewalls or other system processes blocking it but nothing was flagged.  I finally closed all other browsers and programs (Not virus and other protection though.), and with only TT running tried and succeeded with the e-filing at that point.

The child is only eligible for the Child Tax Credit if they are under the age of 17.  Being disabled has no bearing the Child Tax Credit eligibility.
Heard you, heard you🙉.  Btw, being with a major industrial conglomerate for several decades involved in CAD/CAM system development, that probably disqualified me as being even "quasi-luddite"🤣
Yes, you just file the Maryland return since that is your residence and you have no Pennsylvania tax withheld to recover.
Is my 17 year old disabled child tax credit reduced from $2200 to $500 because they turned 17?

Thank you!   Is there a way to look at my MO-1040? I attempted to do so using Tax Tools (Tools and Print Center) but neither allowed me to see the draft state 1040. Turbotax online may allow me to see the form once I pay for the return, but I don't want to do that until I can understand what is happening with the credit amount.    And thanks for the confirmation that the credit is non-refundable. My total liability is 39,265, so it can absorb the full credit amount and then I would be due a refund from withholding.

That is likely correct. If you are active duty military and your home of record is Ohio but you were stationed elsewhere during the tax year, you will probably not be required to pay Ohio school district income tax on your military pay since that pay is deductible on your Ohio tax return. However, you may owe Ohio school district tax if you have any non-military income that was earned in Ohio.   The Ohio Department of Taxation recommends that members of the military file Form SD100 if your legal residence is located in an Ohio school district with an income tax even if there is no  school district income tax liability.
