When using Turbo Tax Premier online and filling up NJ state return, Turbo tax seems to be incorrectly adding an additional $1000 for dependents attending college. For college going dependents, this exemption per child can be availed if their age is <22 per NJ state 1040 instructions. In my case, turbo tax for NJ included $1000 as exemption for my 24 year child, which seems to be inaccurate. Can someone from Turbo Tax team very the business rules for NJ state filing to ensure that the such currently is inaccurate, and confirm back, and fix the software please. If my assessment is incorrect, let me know. Thank you.

TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer. “21 days” is not a promise from TurboTax or the IRS.
First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:
https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/
Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2025 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

Note: “Accepted” is not the same as “approved”. TurboTax tells you the e-file was accepted if the IRS deems that there is enough information on the return for them to take it in for processing. Only the IRS can approve of the refund, which is a later stage of processing. If the IRS approves your refund they will provide a date for the refund to be issued.

But when I print it out for filing the boxes are blank. Spouse born in 1935 died 2004, if that makes a difference. I am going to efile and wonder if this will trigger a problem... Thanks

No, you cannot directly add a 2024 tax credit result to a 2025 amended return. An amended return for 2024 (Form 1040-X) is designed to fix, add, or change information specifically for that tax year.
If the IRS processes your amended tax return for 2024 and you are due a refund, you will receive a refund for your $500 credit.
If you have to amend your 2025 tax return, you will have to wait until your original 2025 tax return has been fully processed and you have received your refund in order to amend it.
You can check the status of your amended tax return, Form 1040X using this link: Where’s My Amended Return?

Another data point .. I have done a couple ROTH conversions last couple years for $80,000 each and did not withhold any taxes like this time (Fed $20,000 and State $2,000), and the Box 7 was coded "G" rightfully as it was a full rollover. Then on 1040 on those years, next to 5b on 1040 there was "ROLLOVER" written in smaller font telling me it did the rollover to ROTH successfully. This time, the Box 7 value "7" looks appropriate and when it prompted me how much I rolled over, I stated "$78,000" but then there is no "ROLLOVER"besides the 1040 line 5b. Is my doing this differently and allocating taxes from it the cause of not being considered a ROLLOVER or is the 1099-R wrongly coded, or is there something else I need to do, or is there a problem with the software somewhere? Thank you SP

You will be able to access the 2024 return you started by using the exact same account and user ID that you used when you started it. But you can no longer use online software for any further changes.
Start a 2025 return online and enter some personal information so that the menu on the left opens up and lets you access your past year returns.
Online tax preparation and e-filing for 2024 returns is now permanently closed.
Now it is too late to use online software or to e-file. If you have any changes/corrections at all to make to your 2024 return, you now have to complete it using desktop software, which you must download to a full PC or Mac (not to a mobile device). Then you need to print, sign and mail it.

If you already paid for your online software you can ask customer support for a download of the desktop software.
They are available from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific time Monday - Friday

If you are getting a refund, there is no penalty for filing late. If you owe tax due, then file and pay the amount due as shown on the Form 1040, but expect a bill later from the IRS for the penalty and interest you will owe. Only the IRS will calculate this—TurboTax will not calculate it.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses. Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.

If you are encountering issues while importing a new 1099 investment form (such as a Form 1099-B/1099-DIV/1099-INT) into TurboTax, please be aware that any accounts that are selected for import after an initial import from the same account or broker will replace any existing information previously imported.
To avoid this issue, here are a few things you can try;:
Wait until all of your investment income is finalized before importing it into TurboTax.
If your latest account update is for a new dividend or interest income form, choose to manually type the information into TurboTax instead of importing it. If you have previously imported a 1099-B from the same brokerage, this will ensure the information you have already imported and have potentially adjusted to correct the cost basis amounts, remains in your tax return.
Our team is aware of this issue and is working on improving this experience going forward.
If you have any additional questions or information, please return to TurboTax Community and we would be glad to help you.
