Pay attention to details, as that's very important here. There's two basic things you're dealing with here. 1) What percentage of the property was used for rental? (50% I take it) 2) Of that 50% reference in 1) above, what percentage of the time in 2025 was it used as a rental? (100% if it was classified as a rental for the entire tax year) I can't give you the specific questions you'll be asked, because it depends on selections made in prior screens to get to this point.

There is no actual deduction for education. But there is a tuition tax credit. But you probably don't qualify for that.   Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) programs may qualify for the  Lifetime Learning Credit (LLC) if they are taken at an eligible educational institution to acquire or improve job skills, or if the course is part of a degree program.   The institution must be an eligible post-secondary institution. While many OLLI programs are hosted by universities, the courses probably don't qualify, particularly if the school does not issue a form 1098-T for the course.  Courses involving sports, games, or hobbies that are not part of a degree program do not qualify.

why the long slog tho - I input all my 1099s manually, most are quick to do, and usually need review and supplementary questions anyway.  1099B can be input as summary entries, if you have adjustments (wash sales, AMD, noncovered) those are best entered "one by one" to avoid mailing the details to the IRS - or just do the mailing with Form 8453 (or if you are using TT Online you can upload the PDF to satisfy that also).

I received Obamacare subsidies for all of last year and have a 1095-A.  I signed up for VA Healthcare September 2025 so I also have a 1095-B showing I had VA coverage for the months of Sept-Dec 2025. I recently realized that because I was enrolled in VA Healthcare that I should not have received any of the subsidies I received for last Sept-Dec for Obamacare on the 1095-A.  I know I need to pay them back, but cannot find where in Online Turbotax to tell the software I had other healthcare, so it gives me a figure for how much I owe.   I'm almost done with the return and may have seen this question about additional healthcare when I first started the return, but must have answered it incorrectly because I didn't realize at the time that my enrollment in VA Healthcare would affect my Obamacare subsidies.  Now I can't get back to it.  Do I go ahead and just file this return and also make an estimated tax payment direct to the IRS for the amount I know I owe to pay back the subsidies for Sept-Dec 2025? I've tried going into Deductions, Medical (I'm not itemizing), Marketplace 1095-A form and tried to find a "more" button, but there is none.

When you entered your SSA-1099 with all of your Social Security and Medicare information, the program picked up those medical expenses and carried them for you so you don't need to enter them again.
I was off work for over a month and collected disability.

Sorry it's too, late to start a 2024 or prior online return or use the mobile app, either on Turbo Tax or the IRS.  And too late to efile.   If you need to do 2024 or prior you can buy the Desktop download here, TurboTax 2022 Prior Year Tax Prep - File Past Years' Taxes You will need Windows 10 or Mac OS Ventura 13 or later to install 2024.   If you can't install the Desktop program or if you have a simple return and want to file for free, you can print out the blank IRS forms and fill them out by hand.
I just started my taxes today and immediately ran into this also. Very frustrating. Please fix ASAP.

@ eznoh wrote: That did not work for me. The IP PIN that e-file submits is only 5 digits and the PIN is 6 This is an old thread from the last year when the IP PIN section was temporarily malfunctioning at the time.  You should be able to enter it in the normal fashion once you go to the correct place.  I will give you the steps below.   The 6-digit  IP PIN is not entered in the FILE section.   It is entered in an entirely different section and is completely different from the 5-digit "signing PIN".    Here's where to enter the 6-digit IP PIN:   Federal Taxes tab  (except it's the Personal tab in Home and Business) Subtab "Other Tax Situations" On the Other Tax Situations screen scroll down to "Other Return Info" Use subtopic that says "IP PIN".   NOTE:  The 5-digit PIN in the FILE section is a "signing PIN" and is not related to the IP PIN.   When efiling, the signing PIN can be any 5 digits of your choice (except cannot be all zeros), and the screen will say that.  It is on a screen with today's date and your birth date that appears near the end of the efiling process.
I found the same issue where an update to the new 2025 software came up behind the app - I only noticed it while force quiting to restart. Once I restarted, the import worked fine.
I have never filed with Turb Tax before and it's prompting me to start with my 2025 return; but, I need to start my 2024 return first.
Where is the OBBB extra deduction for seniors located on your form? I do not see it applied.
