If your Form W-2 has two different employer state ID numbers for the same state, enter them as separate lines (rows) in TurboTax on the same W-2. You can use the "Add another row" option when entering your Form W-2.
To avoid any filing errors, do not add the state wages and taxes together; list them on separate lines just like it is shown on your W-2.
Make sure that the state abbreviation is the same for both lines, and that all federal information is the same as what is on your Form W-2.
You can get back to the TurboTax screens where you can edit your Form W-2 using the steps listed below.
Click on "Search" in the top right of your TurboTax screen.
Type "W-2" in the search bar.
Click on the link "Jump to W-2"
Follow through your screens to your w-2 entries to add your state information
You may need to delete and re-enter your Form W-2 if this does not clear the error. To do this, you can follow the steps listed below.
If you used TurboTax Online you can:
Click on "Tax Tools" in the left panel of your TurboTax screen
Select "Tools"
Click on "Delete a Form"
Scroll down the list of your forms to find -Form W2
Click on the trash can to the right of your form to delete it
If you used TurboTax Desktop, you can:
Click on "Forms" in the top right of your TurboTax screen to switch to "Forms Mode"
In your left panel of your TurboTax screen find Form W-2
Click on "Delete Form" at the bottom of the form
Click on "Yes" to confirm the deletion
Then go back to your W-2 entry screens using the instruction above on how to edit your Form W-2 and re-enter your W-2 information.
Click here for How do I manually enter my W-2?
If you have additional information or questions regarding this, please return to Community and we would be glad to help.

The consideration you are referring to is for spouses who are more than 10 years younger, not less than.
In your case, because there is only a four year age difference, that special consideration does not apply.
To determine your RMD, you can refer to this link where you will find the IRS Uniform Lifetime Table (Table III).
According to the above IRS Table, for your age (76 for 2025) and IRA value ($100,000), the calculation is as follows, $100,000 divided by 23.7 = approximately $4,219.41.
For 2026 (age 77), your approximate RMD is $4,366.81.

The signature page in Step 3 of the checkout process and any other documents requiring a signature in TurboTax Online take the name from the Personal Info section, which is what is shown on page 1 of your Form 1040 tax return.
To add "Jr" to your name in the signature area, go back to the Personal Info section in TurboTax and update your name to include "Jr". It will then populate on the signature line.

Are you trying to pay your estimated taxes for 2026? If you expect to owe more than $1,000 in federal taxes, you are required to make estimated tax payments. If you cannot pay estimated taxes, the IRS will likely charge you an underpayment penalty, interest on the unpaid balance, and potential late-payment fees. Any unpaid amounts will reflect as a balance due when you file your tax return.

So, I noticed this as well. I had already filed my federal and state taxes two weeks ago. TT had put $0 in slot 12b on the Georgia 500 form before I filed. From what I am reading from you guys, this is actually correct. All good right? Well, I patched the SW today and now it is putting $12178 in line 12b and instead of getting back $450 from Georgia, it says I now owe $170. That is seriously messed up. Georgia did accept my return, so I am just going to hold steady and see if I get audited. It seems like TT really screwed up this year.

My NYS 1099-R has an amount in Line 14 for State Tax Withheld but nothing listed in Lice 16, State Distribution. Do I use the Line 2a taxable amount (federal), or do I need to request a corrected form? Turbo Tax check says I need to put an amount in Line 16. I don't want to send in something that is different than the form the company sent to the IRS and NYS tax department.
