@Ediepie    1)  TTX software no longer uses "MX" for multiple states.  They now use "XX" on the form when looking at the sheet in Forms Mode.  That has been the case for a number of years...MX was used maybe 10 or more years ago (wild guess)   2)  Unless you are a resident of Utah, you don't need to break out all the states.  Just your own state, any US Territory bonds (Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin islands), and the remaining $$ are all lumped together as "Multiple States" (XX)   3)  You really shouldn't be working in Forms Mode, make the entries using the Interview is safer for a 1099-INT

Black out all personal information before scanning and uploading any tax information or earnings statement.   Or you may review the final paystub for the year to determine your overtime premium.  It is possible that the employer pays overtime based upon a union contract or state regulations that exceeds the FLSA requirements.      The qualified overtime deduction amount is the “half” portion of “time-and-a-half” compensation that is required by the Fair Labor Standards Act and reported on a Form W-2, Form 1099, or other specified statement furnished to the individual.   Paystubs may report either:   the full overtime pay, or the "half" portion. As an example, if the employee’s regular rate of pay is $20 per hour and the employee worked one hour of overtime, the employee’s full overtime pay would be $30 ($20 x 1.5).    If the full overtime pay is reported, the qualified overtime for deduction purposes is equal to one-third of total overtime: $30 / 3 = $10.   The "half" portion and the employee’s qualified overtime would be $10 ($30 overtime pay less $20 regular pay).   For the deduction for qualified overtime:     Maximum annual deduction is $12,500 ($25,000 for joint filers). Deduction phases out for taxpayers with modified adjusted gross income over $150,000 ($300,000 for joint filers). The deduction reduces federal income tax liability, it does not exempt overtime pay from Social Security and Medicare taxes.  Employees will still owe these taxes on their overtime earnings. Taxpayers filing as married filing separately are not eligible for the deduction. The deduction is available for both itemizing and non-itemizing taxpayers.

TurboTax doesn't support filing Form 709, the United States Gift (and Generation-Skipping Transfer) Tax Return, which is required for reporting large cash gifts exceeding the annual exclusion amount ($19,000 for 2025.) Givers are responsible for reporting gifts over this amount, but TurboTax doesn't include a feature to file gift tax returns. You will likely need to file Form 709 separately outside TurboTax.

It's not clear what you are trying to do. I'll assume you want to file a School District income tax (SDIT) return*.   TurboTax (TT) does not automatically prepare a School District return (form SD100), you must initiate it. At the screen, in the Ohio program, titled  "A few things before we wrap up your state taxes"       scroll down to School District taxes.  Or later at the screen  "Your 2025 Ohio Taxes are ready for us to check"     -Click Other situations     -Scroll down to School District taxes.   Beginning in 2024, TT will ask “Do you want to file your School District taxes”, if your W-2 showed SD withholding in box 19.   Usually  the School District Income Tax (SDIT) return  is e-filed with the state return, but there are exceptions. Read the Ohio 'filing instructions" that TurboTax prepares, They will tell you if the SD100 was e-filed or if you have to mail it.   *Ohio has both city and school district income taxes (SDIT). Boxes 18,19 & 20, of your W-2 could be for either. You are subject to city income tax if you live or work (or both) in a city with an income tax.  You are only subject  to SDIT if you live in an SD with an income tax.
I need to report a large cash gift I gave. Does Turbo Tax have a way to report that?

For working interest owners, the lease bonus and lease payments are reported on Form 1099-NEC, Box 1, Nonemployee Compensation. This amount should be reported on Schedule C, Gross Receipts and Sales. This income is subject to self-employment tax on Schedule SE.   To enter your Form 1099-NEC income from the oil exploration company in TurboTax, follow these steps: 1. Go to the Wages & Income section. 2. Find the 1099-NEC or Nonemployee Compensation section. 3. Select Start or Add a 1099-NEC. 4. Enter the payer's information and the amount from Box 1 of your 1099-NEC. 5. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete income entry. After entering income, TurboTax will guide you to enter any related expenses to reduce your taxable self-employment income.

It sounds like you may be going through the questions step by step answering all of the questions.  If so, all questions are asked to everyone even though not all questions apply to everyone.  So, if it does not apply, you can just hit continue or skip or no.  This will take you on to the next question and will keep forms from being generated that should not be generated.   If you do inadvertently answer a question yes, you can then delete the form in the desktop program.  You can do this in forms mode. Look for the PPL Loan Statement form and then click on delete.  From the left rail menu in TurboTax Online, select Tax Tools (You may have to scroll down on the left rail menu.) On the drop-down select Tools On the Pop-Up menu titled “Tools Center,” select Delete a Form  This will show all of the forms in your return Scroll down to the form you want to delete Select the Form Click on Delete.  Always use extreme caution when deleting information from your tax return.  There could be unintended consequences.

Yes, you can amend, however it's important to make sure the numbers are not changed until your read the instructions. I will provide steps to delete your SSA-1099SM, then the amended instructions.   Use the link below for your version of TurboTax to delete a form. If you're using TurboTax Online software and need to delete a form, click here. If you're using TurboTax Desktop software and need to delete a form, click here. Do not change your tax return until you read all the instructions. TurboTax needs to know the original numbers and the corrected numbers to provide the correct end results before you prepare it.   If you want to make changes or add a document to a tax return that has already been filed and accepted by the taxing agency, you should follow these guidelines.    You must first wait until the initial return is completely processed. You will have to use the same TurboTax account that you used for the original tax return. Once you begin your amendment, you'll see your original return. The refund calculator will start new at $0 and only reflect the changes in the refund or tax due Only make changes to the areas of your return that need to be corrected. You have three years from the date you filed your return or two years after you paid the tax due (whichever is later) to file an amendment Amend a tax return for the current tax year   @DavePro

The IRS permits you to file a substitute W-2 (IRS form 4852) if you have not received a W-2 from your employer.  You are not allowed to efile if your tax return contains a substitute W-2.   You may be trying to report tax-exempt Medicaid waiver payments from in-home supportive services (IHSS).  Is that correct?  Please clarify.   If you are trying to report tax-exempt Medicaid waiver payments, the payments may be reported to you on a W-2, 1099, or no form at all, depending on where you live.   Remove the substitute W-2 and refer to this TurboTax Help for assistance to report the payments.  Post here if you have other questions.
