I can tell you how to find and access (hopefully) your account.  Be aware that if you need to work on the 2024 return, you would need 2024 desktop software.  If you used a paid product and already paid last year, TurboTax Support should provide you the 2024 software.   The 2024 return can no longer be efiled.  It has to be printed, signed, dated, and mailed.   You can put your current 2026 IP PIN on it in the proper location in the signature section.   NOTE:  If you are required to use an IP PIN, then you need a new IP PIN every calendar year.   Do not use your IP PIN from last year.   Have you received or retrieved your new 2026 IP PIN to be used for all returns filed this calendar year?  All returns filed during this year need the new 2026 IP PIN--even prior year returns that are filed this year.   Once you get back into your account, here's how to find the 2024 return.   You actually have to start a few screens of the 2025 return to be able to find it (you don't have to actually preparet it.)   If your left column menu is minimal, and does not have a Tax Home tab displayed, that would imply you have not started preparing a 2025 return in that account.  If you haven't yet started a return, it will start asking you some questions.  Answer those preliminary questions on a few screens (you don't actually have to prepare a return), and then when you are far enough into the process, the left menu column will change, and you'll then see a Tax Home option in the left menu column.  Do not click the Documents tab.  Instead, click on Tax Home.  Then on the Tax Home screen, scroll way down to the bottom to "Your Tax Returns & Documents".  Expand that section and choose the past year you want.    Account Recovery To get a list of your User IDs, reset password, and recover account access, etc., you can use the tool at the link below.  When using the Account Recovery tool, try using your phone number first if you can still access it.   After that, if necessary, then run the tool on your email address(es) you can access.  If neither of that works, I've provided a different approach below. NOTE: Before running the account recovery tool below, log out of all Intuit accounts including this user forum, or you might end up in a loop.  Then clear your browser Internet cache, close your browser, then reopen it, and go to the link below.  You may wish to copy this link so you can paste it into the new browser session. https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery If still no luck after running that on your phone number you can still access and email address(es) that you can access,  here's another method:          Go back to the tool again, but this time leave the data field blank, scroll down a bit, then choose the small blue link that says "Try something else", and it will look you up by other parameters.

I moved from Virginia to North Carolina last May. Started a new job in June and filed my taxes two days ago and got 1400 dollar return but owed North Carolina 2000 dollars? I’m confused about this. My buddy who has lived in NC for a year makes a little bit more than I do and got refunded 300 dollars and didn’t owe anything. He didn’t have any tax write offs either and neither did I. Is this because I was a part year resident and didn’t pay in what was needed for my salary? I’m just confused. I have 4% paid towards state taxes pulled out of my paycheck if that helps.
Turbo Tax incorrectly estimated my tax payments for 2026. How to I change this?

The "up to 5 days early" option applies only to the Federal refund, not a state refund.   Some states are fairly quick with refunds, while other states can take a long time processing returns as they crack down on detecting fraudulent returns.     Here are some things you should check:   First, you need to be sure your state return was successfully filed.   If you efiled, be sure your efiled state return was accepted.  If you used Online TurboTax, you can check by looking at the Tax Home in your Online account.   Or did you choose to file by mail instead?  TurboTax does not mail it for you.  If you chose that method, you have to print, sign, date, and mail it.   The FAQ below tells how to check on a state refund.   When you scroll down further there, you will see a link for your state's website to use the state refund lookup tool.   FAQ:  How do I track my state refund? https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/track-state-refund/L3jgO8PGs_...

I was under the impression that if you didn't make much money throughout the year that it would be free to file. Apparently I was mistaken. I was charged $84.20 to supposedly efile my 2026 return. Didn't happen so once again I'm stuck paying for a service that wasn't provided. Sounds like a class action lawsuit.
How to enter 1099-DA forms?
My "amount due" went from $7,900 to $11,800 after adding my 1099-Qs which were all received and then paid to the University.
