If you don't get your deposit 5 days early, there is a few reasons why that might happen.
Your refund was offset or differed from their estimated refund amount, bringing the refund amount below the minimum threshold or above the maximum. What is a refund offset?
Your bank wouldn't accept RTP (Real Time Payments) or Same Day ACH deposits, preventing Intuit from depositing your refund 5 days ahead of when the IRS would have deposited your refund.
The IRS didn't give Intuit 5 or more days of notice in advance. This stopped Intuit from meeting the 5 days early expectations.
If TurboTax is unable to deliver the refund 5 days early, your order will be canceled and you won't be charged the 5-Day Early fee. You will receive a follow-up email with a refund and timing update, and if any cancellation is applicable.
Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing or the timing when the IRS releases your refund.

In June of 2025 I converted from a two partner LLC to an S Corp. I am using the same EIN. Paperwork was filed with the state to change from LLC to SCor My question is, what form do I file? Do I filed a 1065 and then file form 2553 to elect becoming an S Corp? Or do I file 1120S since I filed the conversion with the state through my lawyer. Also if I do file 1065 do I select final return since I converted? My lawyer did not file anything to IRS. I am using the same EIN. Paperwork was filed with the state to change from LLC to SCorp.

No, but those expenses could have been claimed on the 2024 tax return. That assumes that the 1098-T and the amount for the spring term was actually paid in 2024, not 2025. It goes by when paid.

This is still not fixed for 2025. I feel bad for people who don't have expectations and know their situations before filling in this form. I have a child, living at home full time student. The end. They should not be asking the 5200 income at all, but since they did, if yes - not eligible, if no - eligible. I know she is still eligible because of her living and school situation. the 5200 test is for OTHER 'dependents' living at your house, not children in school. This is broken for the children side - please fix the software so people can get the children data correct.

The amended forms are not quite ready yet, but you can use this tool to see when they become available. It is possible that the IRS will catch your error and send you a letter telling you that they are adjusting your return so be sure to wait until your return is fully processed before amending. If they process your return and you do not receive a letter telling you your return has been adjusted, then you will need to Amend Your Return .
A few notes amount amending
You will have to use the same TurboTax account that you used for the original tax return.
The refund calculator will start new at $0. The new number you see will be the number you now owe or the extra you will get back. This number takes into consideration the amount of your refund or payment in the original return.
Select your product below and follow the instructions.

I'm using desktop Turbotax premier. I've completed my return. I've e-filed federal return and now want to e-file my state return (Ohio). Driver's license info was entered. I've entered my bank info to pay Ohio from checking account. Turbotax saves my return, then takes me to a page to enter my Billing Address. I enter it, but there is no way to get to the next tab to enter my Payment Info. There is no "Continue" or "Next" button, no scroll bar, and the Billing Info tab is grayed out. Intuit wants my money to pay the $25 to file my state return, but gives me no way to pay it?????

They are checking for crypto and other digital assets this year. Seems that they should be able to figure out what is a stock sale and what isn't. Hopefully next year. I hope TurboTax reads this.

Thanks. As I suspected. In fact, the depreciation was increased in 2012 when the capital improvements were made by my wife's ex, but apparently the cost basis increase didn't carry through in Turbo Tax from then until now. We are paying for the Depreciation recapture, but unable to also take advantage of the cost basis increase. Darn! Too complicated unfortunately to try to correct it seems, as it was partially done right, but just not carried through for some reason over the years.

I am afraid I had to click on each one. Each worksheet needs to be completed and then the exclamation point goes away. Then it can be saved. If you don't finish all, your entries are not saved. If the exclamation point persists, scroll to the top and click down one page at a time - sometimes turbotax or I have skipped a page that needs to be check marked. I only had about 200, so not so bad. Sorry I don't have any better advice.
