Your estimated refund arrival the first week of march. but it's still being processed what does that mean.

The federal government doesn't offer a general organ donation expense credit. But, as Xmasbaby0 mentioned, some states provide a state tax credit or deduction for unreimbursed organ donation expenses. You can check your state’s Department of Revenue website for “living organ donor tax credit” details. Or let us know what your state is and we'll point you in the right direction.

Health care insurance premiums, including dental and vision insurance premiums, and other medical expenses that you paid with out of pocket funds and were not reimbursed are an eligible medical expense that you can deduct using Schedule A for itemized deductions. However, only your total medical expenses that are greater than 7.5% of your Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) can be deducted. Your total itemized deductions reported on Form 1040 Schedule A must be greater than the standard deduction for your filing status to have any tax benefit. In TurboTax Online (DIY), ReFILE is not available for Quebec residents. To ReFile, Request for an Adjustment to an Income Tax Return https://www.revenuquebec.ca/en/online-services/forms-and-publications/current-details/tp-1-r-v/   Schedule S is specifically for the "Amount for Post-Secondary Studies" (which corresponds to Box A of the RL-8). This is a fixed amount per term (usually around $3,800+ per term) that a student can transfer to a parent to reduce the parent's Quebec tax.   Entering a T2202 only handles the Federal Tuition Credit (Schedule 11) and the Quebec Tuition Credit (Schedule T). It does not cover the specific Quebec "Post-Secondary Amount" (Schedule S).   To generate Schedule S and allow the transfer of that amount to you, your son needs to: He must go to the "Federal Slips" or "Quebec Slips" section and find the RL-8 entry screen. Enter the number of terms and the amount shown in Box A.   Once the RL-8 is entered, TurboTax will prompt him in the "Deductions & Credits" > "Students" section to complete Schedule S. He must explicitly indicate that he wishes to transfer the funds to a parent (and enter your name/SIN if prompted).   We replicated the scenario on our end and found no issues. Since the return has already been filed, the only option is to wait for the Notice of Assessment and then resubmit it to Revenue Quebec.

The IRS finalized the 2025 version of Form 5695 on January 29, 2026. Once a form is finalized by the IRS, it has to be coded into the special language the software uses and has to be thoroughly tested for calculations and e-filing acceptability. The IRS then has to approve it for e-file. It always takes a little longer for a form to become available for e-file in a software program. The dates are subject to change due to all that needs to be done.   You can sign up for updates here: Why am I getting address errors for my Home Energy credit when the address has already been added and is correct?

I was a resident alien in NYC have a 401(k) accounts. I have moved to Ireland  and wondering what are my options now that I'm a non-resident alien in the US. I’ve seen some guidance suggesting a 30% tax, but it’s unclear whether this applies to principal or gains, or both. s I’d like advice on: 1. Should I continue contributing to my 401(k)? If I'm not planning on living the USA again 2. If not, when would be the best time to transfer my existing 401(k)s and liquid it

If the return is rejected you can make the necessary changes and e-file again. If the return is accepted you will have to amend your original tax return.
