To recap, my returns, like everyone else’s returns that included a form 5695 deduction, was rejected several times. Given that I have refunds coming from both federal and state I had no intentions of waiting until March 6 or March 7 or some time in the future when TurboTax finally got around to resolving the problem with correctly processing inputted and transmitted data from form 5695 to the IRS.    I resolved it by going to turbo tax, searching for the form 5695 and completed it manually using the IRS form 5695 instructions (available from the IRS). After completing the form manually, I had turbo tax re-check and verify that my returns were error free. I then re-transmitted both returns using eFile.  Finally, both my federal and state taxes returns were accepted.    This should not have been a difficult fix and update by turbo tax. I am really surprised and frankly very disappointed that TT didn’t address and fix this. I’ve been using TT for years and this has given me pause about using them again in the future. My confidence in their product has definitely given me reason to question the accuracy of their software.

Distribution code G on your 1099-R indicates that your proceeds was rolled over to another qualified plan. Your 1099-R shows $0.00 as the taxable amount in Box 2a.   The 1099-R may be reported on an amended income tax return.  Amended tax returns should be available soon.  See forms availability here.   If you used TurboTax Online, log in to your account and select Amend a return that was filed and accepted.    If you used the CD/download product, sign back into your return and select Amend a filed return.    See also this TurboTax Help.   @ange-rene007

If the message you see relates to a rental property (Schedule E), try working through the property interview again. In TurboTax Online, navigate to your Rental Property Summary page and look for Less Common Situations at the bottom. Click the pencil icon to the right of "Carryovers, limitations, at risk info, etc." and work through the interview to enter your carryovers. Be sure to complete all tables that may appear and continue until you reach the property summary page again.   For self-employed business carryovers (Schedule C), navigate to your Business Summary page and look for Uncommon Situations at the bottom. Click the pencil icon to the right of "Unused Expenses, carryovers..." and work through the interview to enter your carryovers. Be sure to complete all tables that may appear and continue until you reach the business summary page again.   @nycstevepsp  @lacina00
Yes, I received an answer that was very helpful. I thanked the online TT assistant last week in this forum. AC
We are having issues also. We have deleted the 1099-Q completely and cleaned our cache as recommended and still can not exile our state tax return

The Kansas City/St. Louis Return is processed directly by your city. If you filed local taxes last year, locate the city's Form E-1R Line 7, for the refund amount.

In order to take a closer look at the situation you described and report it to the development team for further investigation and potential corrections, it is very helpful to have an actual customer diagnostic file demonstrating the situation.  Please consider sharing a diagnostic copy of your tax file so we can take that closer look.  The diagnostic file will not contain personally identifiable information, only numbers related to your tax forms.     If you would like to provide us with the diagnostic file, follow the instructions below and post the token number along with which version of TurboTax you are using in a follow-up thread.   Use these steps if you are using TurboTax Online:   Sign in to your account and be sure you are in your tax return. Select Tax Tools in the menu to the left. Select Tools. Select Share my file with agent. A pop-up message will appear, select OK to send the sanitized diagnostic copy to us. Post the token number here.    If you are using a CD/downloaded version of TurboTax, use these steps:   Select Online at the top of the screen. Select Send Tax File to Agent. Click OK. Post the token number here.   If you are using a Mac version of TurboTax, use these steps:   Go to the Menu at the top of the screen and select Help. Then, Send Tax File to Agent. Post the token number here.

If you received a "Success" message but your data hasn't appeared in TurboTax, it is likely due to recent browser security updates regarding Local Network Access.   To fix this you need to allow TurboTax to securely retrieve your data through your browser settings: Locate the View Site Information icon (the "tune" or "lock" icon) on the far left of your address bar, just before the URL. Find Local Network Access in the dropdown menu. Toggle the switch to ON. Refresh the page and attempt your import again. What do I do when my data isn't imported into TurboTax Desktop even though it says successful import in my browser? If permissions aren't the issue, one of the following factors may be at play: Brokerage Delays: While most forms arrive by January 31, many brokerages delay Consolidated 1099s (like the 1099-B) until mid-February due to complex reporting requirements. Availability: Your brokerage must specifically "release" the import file to TurboTax. If it isn’t ready, we recommend checking back. Connection Blocks: Active VPNs or aggressive Anti-Virus software can occasionally block the import feature between your bank and TurboTax. Try disabling them temporarily or switching to a different browser. Helpful TurboTax Articles: What if I can't import my 1099? How can I fix my 1099 import issue? How do I import my 1099s? No. The IRS receives copies of all Forms 1099 from the issuer. You don't need to attach them to your return.

Yes.  You have a SPIFF. This is a common situation and TT can handle it.   In TurboTax, Enter at: - Federal Taxes tab  - Wages & Income Scroll down to   -1099-Misc and Other common Income       - Income From 1099-Misc  On the  follow up screen :"Describe the reason for this 1099-Misc",  enter SPIFF in the blank box, then on the next screen,  "Does one of these Uncommon situations apply" on the drop down list, check “This was  a Manufacturer's incentive payment” This will put it on line 8z of Schedule 1 then line 8 of form 1040.   A SPIFF (Special Performance Incentives for Field Force) is a small, immediate bonus for a sale. Typically, "spiffs" are paid, either by a manufacturer or employer, directly to a salesperson for selling a specific product. IRS Publication 3204 discusses spiffs for the auto industry, however the principal should apply to any spiff.    SPIFF payments reported on Form 1099MISC; (1) are not treated as wages, (2) are not subject to federal income tax withholding, social security, Medicare, or federal unemployment tax, and (3) are not considered to be self employment income and, therefore, are not subject to self employment tax.  https://www.unclefed.com/IRS-Forms/2005/p3204.pdf   The entry method described by @MinhT1 also works.

"Line 52b shows minimum amount as $7229 which will be my RMD for 2026."   This suggests that you mistakenly entered the amount of your RMD required to be completed in 2026 when TurboTax asked for the amount of your RMD required to be completed in 2025.  When TurboTax asked you to enter the amount required in 2025, you should have entered $6273.08  Your $6,300 distribution in 2025 satisfied that.    2025 TurboTax does not ask anything about your 2026 RMD.
