Found the correct file, selected it, but Continue doesn't work.   Are you using a Mac?   This is a 6-page thread of many Mac users with this issue. Many have stated what worked for them. Read through it, and you'll see several ways users have resolved it. It would probably be best to look through the comments in reverse order, since the later ones have more info on how to do the workarounds than the early responses before it became more clear.
I've been wondering what the reasons are to move to the cloud version when the desktop version has worked well for me for many years.
Thank you, MaryK4.... It sounds like I shouldn't worry about this unless I hear from WV that there is a problem.
Hello I am being charged the 10% penalty but I paid over 20% when I withdrew the funds? Is there a way to correct this?

This is the third year since I retired. As a long-time TurboTax user, I am dedicated to the product. However, I am speaking out for other retirees. Through several LONG tech support calls, I pointed out a problem starting with tax year 2023 with Utah Code 23.  The questions for state filing DID NOT ask about this TAX CREDIT that gives you back nearly $200 for your Medicare Part B payments. In 2024, I looked for a change. The TurboTax questions made vague reference to medical insurance, but I only knew to pursue Code 23 because I had found it in the 2023 version.  Now, in 2025, the questions NEVER even brought up the vague references from 2024. After completing my federal form, I went directly to UT forms and never was asked about this. By looking at the Utah tax website, I saw that it clearly was still a valid TAX CREDIT. I then manually went to the TC-40A Form and added it under Code 23, getting $199 off my tax bill.  Please fix this!

Is this a programing error, or am I the only one with a Rental that has this issue?   There are two choices for this screen  "I know my total utility expenses"  -          Only allows me to put in the sum total for all my Rental Utilities ( not the perfered, I like to itemize for each ( Gas, water, electricity,)      Will not allow me to double click to itemize  "I have a list of utility expenses and I want TurbolTax to add it for me"      The options are  Description, months paid, Amount per Month.  Question Who pays the SAME amount for Electricity or Gas or Water each month.  Why don't you include a 4th column allow me to manually input Total paid that year, for each utility ?  -
Same here.  Way too much time switching browsers, removing firewall, changing settings.  It is Feb 25, 2026 and still won't import Schwab.

Here it is 3 years later, and I am encountering the same issue.  I use TT Deluxe, desktop version.   The error message now says, "Form 2210AI: Line 4 is not between the prescribed upper and lower limits"  but it's the same issue.   My situation is basically the same as the OP -- my itemized deductions in period 3 are legitimately greater than in period 4 because I receive nearly 90% of my income in period 4.  This isn't an error.  So how do I proceed?
The override is on a worksheet that is not part of your filed federal return, so it doesn't invalidate the return from e-filing.   @Dang83

One additional item to consider with this is that you may have to file your return by mail.  Although things could change for future filing years, presently the IRS does not accept e-filed returns when withholding is equal to or greater than half of the distribution amount on a 1099-R.  The taxpayer must file by mail and submit a paper copy of the 1099-R showing this withholding.
As SharonD007 posted previously, our tech support team has determined that entering the SOS number without the "B" will not prevent e-filing your state return.

No part of the entry process for a Form 1099-R asks for this, including if the contribution was made as a QCD by an in-kind transfer of stock.  If the contribution is a QCD, it is not reportable in the section for Charitable Donations under Deductions & Credits.   Is this contribution not a QCD such that it must be entered as an ordinary charitable contribution deductible on Schedule A instead?  If so, the Form 1099-R would be reported on your tax return as a taxable distribution from the IRA to you, and a subsequent charitable contribution to the church.  In that case, your basis in the shares in your possession is the value of the shares distributed and the holding period begins on that date.  Under this scenario I assume that the donation was made less than a year after distribution from the IRA, so the holding period would be short-term.
Box 15 on the 1099 input page does not offer the option to select Washington State. It is stuck on Alabama
