Here's how you can fix it:  Sign in to your account and select the Fix my return button. Follow any “fix it” instructions to update the information causing the rejection.    Note: Not all rejections will have explicit guides to fix the information. You’ll need to navigate to the program area to address the cause of the rejection.    Time-saving Tip: If what you originally entered is correct, you won't be able to e-file. There's probably a data mismatch at the government, a dependent that's already been claimed, or some other situation beyond your control that prevents your return from being e-filed. In this case, your only option would be to print and mail in your return. This article will give you instruction on how to print and mail your return.    Additional reject instruction here.

If the “Allow” button isn’t working when trying to download documents from Morgan Stanley, it could point to a browser issue. Try clearing your cache and cookies, then close and reopen your browser before logging back in. This usually resolves stuck or unresponsive download permissions.

Helpful TurboTax Articles: What if I can't import my 1099? How can I fix my 1099 import issue? How do I import my 1099s? How do I enter a large number of stock transactions in TurboTax? If you received a "Success" message but your data hasn't appeared in TurboTax, it is likely due to recent browser security updates regarding Local Network Access.   To fix this you need to allow TurboTax to securely retrieve your data through your browser settings: Locate the View Site Information icon (the "tune" or "lock" icon) on the far left of your address bar, just before the URL. Find Local Network Access in the dropdown menu. Toggle the switch to ON. Refresh the page and attempt your import again. What do I do when my data isn't imported into TurboTax Desktop even though it says successful import in my browser? If permissions aren't the issue, one of the following factors may be at play: Brokerage Delays: While most forms arrive by January 31, many brokerages delay Consolidated 1099s (like the 1099-B) until mid-February due to complex reporting requirements. Availability: Your brokerage must specifically "release" the import file to TurboTax. If it isn’t ready, we recommend checking back. Connection Blocks: Active VPNs or aggressive Anti-Virus software can occasionally block the import feature between your bank and TurboTax. Try disabling them temporarily or switching to a different browser.
Filing status changed to rejected on October 15 for Federal and State. It's not showing the rejection code. I'm trying to determine why it was rejected. How do I get the rejection code?

I have four accounts with Raymond James. I have a document for each account, each with an account name and document ID.  each includes dividend and interest income. When I put in the name and ID of the first account, it presented them back as username and password. How do I upload these four documents to TurboTax online, preimium.  I also have three 1099R's. The system asks me questions that are not on the 1099's I got from these respective employers.  How do I answer those questions?
Separate from your rental, are you Itemizing your personal deductions on Schedule A?   [EDIT:  I realize this may sound like an odd question, but it actually *IS* relevant to what you are asking.]

Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing or the timing when the IRS releases your refund.    Your refund could be offset. The IRS and State Governments have the ability to offset a refund to pay for certain past due debts.  You generally will receive a letter stating what the offset was for.    The IRS provides a toll-free number, (800) 304-3107, to call for information about tax offsets.   Here are a few FAQs to help you track your refund: When will I get my federal tax refund? How do I track my state refund? Why does Where's My Refund say "approved" but TurboTax still says "accepted"? Why do some refunds take longer than others? What if my IRS refund is taking longer than 21 days?
Thank you!!  I also got MPLX and on my 1099 it shows I have a postive 32 gain.  But on my K-1 it shows in box 1 (-28).  Would I need to amend that?
