What type of asset was it?  If a house, that would be reported under   Federal Taxes Wages & Income Less Common Income Sale of Home (gain or loss)   START or UPDATE Indicate that it was inherited and report only your portion of everything, such as Fair Market Value and sales proceeds.    If it was something else, please continue the question.
Can you please clarify your question?
Can you please clarify what was the reason for the reject?

Yes, it is terrible that we have this problem. I have used TurboTax for decades and never had such an issue previously. I will have to enter my 1099-B transactions manually. One of the reasons I use software for my taxes is to avoid all the manual entries. Maybe it is time to switch to a different software package next year. On another note, TurboTax stopped installations on Windows 10 computers (mine can't be upgraded). H&R Block tax software can still be used on Windows 10, and now I am sorry I didn't use it instead (I have a new Windows 11 laptop, but haven't bought all the new software to completely replace my Windows 10 laptop).

An extension is an option with disadvantages of having to file manually etc.  Also, the financial year is still not in sync. Jan-dec vs apr-mar.   Could one declare actual interest and dividend received and take credit for actual tax paid in the year ( even though the tax paid would include tax paid for previous year but nothing wrong as one only takes credit for tax paid one time,  as it is paid in cash method.

Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing or the timing of when the IRS releases your refund.    The IRS Where's My Refund site gives a date range of when you can expect to receive your refund. Most refunds are deposited within the allotted timeframe.

There is an update coming to allow Room and Board to be entered in to the TurboTax program.  If a distribution was used totally for room and board expenses, you also have the option of leaving the 1099-Q out of the TurboTax program. The 1099-Q is only used for CALCULATIONS and if it was used for Room and Board, and therefore not taxable, it really isn't needed.    According to the IRS: Page 44 "Generally, distributions are tax free if they aren’t more than the beneficiary’s AQEE for the year. Don’t report tax-free distributions (including qualifying rollovers) on your tax return."   @mhekins

You can't enter those room and board expenses (including off campus) yet. This is a known glitch in TurboTax (TT). They are working on it.  It's expected to be resolved in a TurboTax update to be released by February 27th.              The 2025 education and 529 sections appear totally redesigned, from last year. For more info, about 529 distributions, see: https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/college-education/discussion/where-do-i-enter-college-room-and-board-expenses-that-were-paid-for-by-a-529-disbursement/00/3782831
