Note - I accidentally created a duplicate thread (feel free to merge if you can): https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/state-taxes/discussion/re-bug-in-ca-form-568-schedule-iw-line-3-for-annual-limited-liability-company-tax-values-and-c/01/3838909/highlight/false I should have clarified that I am using the TurboTax Online version.  Few clarifications: - LLC-4/7 Form was filed 11/24/2025. I received approval letter December 3. - I paid $800 when filing taxes last year with TurboTax Online (i.e. for tax year 2024). This payment was the LLC annual tax for 2025. - Now, filing taxes for tax year 2025, my balance should be $0: I should not owe anything, nor should FTB owe me anything. Is this correct? TurboTax Online does correctly mark this as the Final Ever Return for this LLC, but for some reason it ends up calculating that I am owed $800. See the screenshot - I believe the error is happening on Line 3: 2025 Annual LLC Tax (should have value $800). As mentioned earlier, I do not seem to have the ability to change these values: no matter what I put in these fields, TurboTax Online overrides them. What should I do? Did I misunderstand something? Thank you for the help!

This software is complete junk.  Absolutely one of the most frustrating things trying to figure out how to file an extension using this software that claims to be able to handle extensions.  Then, in the software, NEVER once does it actually mention that you can't actually file from the program.  What junk this software is, seriously, just terrible.  I will do everythign in my power to never use this junk again.

Hi @DanaB27 , I must've made a mistake answering the questions when I imported my 1099-R forms. I re-imported the forms and this is what I have for my form 8606 now:   Line1 7000 Line2 7000 Line3 14000 Line5 14000 Line10 x Line13 13999 * Line14 1 Line15a 0 Line15c 0 * Line16 17626 Line17 13999 Line18 3628   1. Form 8606 looks correct now as far as I can tell. Line 6 is blank, but line 14 I think captures the $1 I left in the traditional IRA at the end of 2025. Does this look correct to you? I'm guessing there was some rounding done in the calculations, which is why turbotax ended up with $13,999 instead of $14,000 for lines 13 and 17. 2. When I was entering my traditional IRA 1099-R I encountered the question below and selected "yes." Is "yes" the correct answer, even though I left 0.66cents in the traditional IRA? Technically I believe I converted all of it, and the 0.66cent was leftover from interest, which is why I selected "yes"

Thank you for the response. I should have clarified that I am using the Online Version of TurboTax.   @PatriciaV wrote: If you uncheck the "Final Return" box on Line H of Form 568, the LLC tax will appear on Line 3.    You can check the box on Line F of the CA Sch C Wks to indicate you disposed of the business; this does not cause the "Final Return" box to be marked on the 568. I do not have the ability uncheck the "Final Return" box. It is a radio button and I can only select Initial Return, Final Return, or Amended Return option. How can I achieve this in the online version? Thank you, jp

I finally was able to get the federal portion separately, but I have the same issue for the state return with 1041.  Clearly, this issue is happening to a LOT of us.  And it should have been fixed by now.   Can you guys actually give us a fix on this with the software and stop sending 'lists' of things to try?   Jim

I talked to the helper people (not much to be had) and have done everything suggested.  I have used multiple different PC's with multiple browsers.  Something isn't letting it go to the step ③Get ready to save and file your amended returns.  Please check on this and let me know.    The lady I spoke with on the phone said to just keep trying it each day and once Turbo Tax updates their software it will work...  I don't feel like this is accurate though.   BTW I am using the Premium Online version but the drop boxes below say Premier.

Just to be clear, the $9,550 must not be entered anywhere other than during the entry of the Form 1099-R.  If it's separately entered in the HSA section, it will appear on your wife's Form 8889 line 2 and line 10, doubling your wife's reported contributions to $19,100.  Line 2 of your wife's Form 8889 must remain blank.

For the information listed for each fund, the capital gains should be Long Term Capital Gains reported in box 2a and wouldn't factor into any calculation. I would simply take the percentage of GO for each fund multiply it by the amount of ordinary dividends paid out by that fund. It is my understanding that that is what the percentage represents.  That's the way I've been doing it for years.
Yes, it would be general business income which is taxable.  Topic 407-Business Income
