No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue. If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help. Do not use the word “refund.”

He might be a qualified relative dependent if he had less than $5200 of income not counting any Social Security, and you would get the $500 non-refundable credit for other dependents.
Qualifying relative
They don't have to be related to you (despite the name).
They aren't claimed as a dependent by someone else.
They're a U.S. citizen, resident alien, national, or a Canadian or Mexican resident.
They aren’t filing a joint return with their spouse.
They lived with you the entire year (exceptions apply).
They made less than $5200 in 2025 (not counting Social Security)
You provided more than half of their financial support.
When you add someone as a dependent, we'll ask a series of questions to make sure you can claim them. There may be other tax benefits you can get when you claim a dependent.

You can deduct charitable donations such as clothing if you make them to qualified organizations and you itemize your deductions.
Starting with the 2026 tax year, you will be able to deduct up to $1,000 ($2,000 for married filing jointly) in cash donations to qualified charities even if you do not itemize. This above-the-line deduction applies to cash, check, or credit card donations but not donated items such as clothing and household goods.
To enter a charitable deduction in TurboTax, you can use the steps that are listed below.
If you are using TurboTax Online you can:
Click on the "Search" button at the top left of your TurboTax screen.
Type "Charitable Deductions" in the search bar

Select "Continue"
Click on "Yes, let's enter my donations" And then
Select "Continue"
Enter your "Charity name" and select "Items and stock" and
Select "Continue"
On the screen that says "Tell us about your donated items or stock" select from the drop down menu "Household items and clothing"
Answer all of the follow-up questions and continue through the screen regarding your donation

You enter your 2025 Form SSA-1099 in TurboTax in the Wages and Income section, then Retirement Plans and Social Security, then Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099). The lump sum amount will be included in the amount listed in box 5, so you enter the SSA-1099 form as you normally would if you didn't have a lump sum payment. After you enter it, you will see an option on another screen to list the amount of your lump sum payment and will be asked some other questions about it.
I'm not sure what you are referring to regarding 85% of line B, accept to say your taxable social security benefits cannot be more that 85% of your total benefits. If you can clarify where you are seeing that we may be able to help you better.

You cannot fix it until it has either been rejected or until it has been fully processed. You cannot make changes to a return after you e-file it. Meanwhile, your mother's return will be rejected because of the duplicate use of your SSN. She can either print sign and mail her return or try getting an IP PIN to allow her to e-file.
GET IP pin in order to e-file if your dependent’s SSN was claimed on another return
