You are confusing  desktop download routines with online.     There is no "Add New Return" with online.   When you use online TurboTax software you get one return per fee.   Each return needs its own account and user ID.   If you use the same account and user ID for a second return, the second one overwrites the first return and it is lost forever.     https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/using-turbotax/help/how-do-i-start-another-return-in-turbotax-online/00/25596

Yes, you can file as Head of Household using TurboTax.    Here's how to do this in TurboTax Online: 1. While logged into your TurboTax account, navigate to the left of the screen, under 2025 Taxes, choose My Info 2. At the top of the screen, under Your Info appears your name, click your name to expand options, then choose Edit 3. Continue through the interview pages until you arrive at About your household 4. Answer the question "What was your marital status on December 31, 2025? to choose your filing status.  For Head of Household, you will choose "single" or "plan to file separately or as Head of Household (special rules apply)."  TurboTax will automatically categorize you as Head of Household once you have entered the information of your qualifying dependents.   Here is some more information on filing status: How to Change Your Tax Filing Status

@user17692885947    Some folks have apparently seen that form be required, if the $$ in box 6 of the W-2 , are not exactly 1.45% of box 5.   One thing that has worked for some, is to drop the cents in the box 6 value.  There may be some strange rounding issue that's messing it up, and being a bit below 1.45% isn't usually an issue.

It depends. If you meet the all the qualifications you can claim your daughter as a dependent.  The key element here is that if your daughter did not provide more than half of her own support then only you would be entitled to claim her as a dependent.  If she is claimed as a dependent she is not allowed to claim anyone else as a dependent, even her own child. .   Qualifying child: They're related to you. They aren't claimed as a dependent by someone else. They're a US citizen, resident alien, national, or a Canadian or Mexican resident. They aren’t filing a joint return with their spouse. They're under the age of 19 (or 24 for full-time students). There's no age limit for permanently and totally disabled children. They lived with you for more than half the year (exceptions apply). They didn't provide more than half of their own support for the year. Use the links below for further assistance.  Who may I claim as a dependent? IRS Publication 501 This answer assumes your child was a full time college student for at least some part of five different months during the calendar year.

I was navigating correctly.  I have resolved the issue. But I'm not sure which of these two actions resolved it: 1) my new computer only had TurboTax 2025 installed on it. I'm not sure if it wouldn't transfer from the 2024 files because I didn't have the 2024 version installed on it. So, I installed 2025 version on my old computer and was able to do the transfer on my old computer.  2) I have my network folders mapped, when I navigated to the mapped folders the .tt files weren't available, but when I went directly to the network folder, I was able to find the .tt files.  Either way, I've been able to transfer over the 2024 data to the 2025 returns.  Thank you for your quick response.
