I just spoke with someone at Merrill who specifically said they had a notification on this issue from their management that Turbotax confirmed it's an issue their side, it's being worked on for a fix "later this week"   @CatinaT1 pls can you check internally, there have been multiple threads on this and it's clearly not a user or data availability issue.   there have been other threads about other partners missing from the import dropdown also - American Express Bank was another example.

We have sent this to investigate, and we have been informed that the forms are currently under development. Updates are continually being integrated into the CCA table. This is a known development status, not a bug. The CCA table is still pending the finalization of the CRA forms, and we are actively working to update it as these forms become available and finalized by CRA.
Thank you, so turbo tax will figure out how much federal and state taxes should be applied to the amount I received on the 1099-R, correct?  Where in my tax forms would I find these amounts?
We are currently investigating the issue and will provide updates as soon as possible.

You should've received a 1099-MISC ‌instead of a 1099-NEC for this rebate. You can contact the issuer and have them correct the mistake. While they fix the mistake, you can enter this into TurboTax following these steps:   You enter this income using Form 1099-MISC and identify that it wasn't income from working so that it doesn't get misclassified as self-employment income:   Select Income from Form 1099-MISC under Wages and Income. Enter the payer information and dollar amount Enter a description for the payment When asked about Uncommon Reasons, select that none apply or select one that adequately explains the reason When asked about the frequency of payment, select received in 2022 When asked "Did (description) involve an intent to earn money?" answer No (that is, it isn't earned income and therefore not subject to self-employment tax)

Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing or the timing when the IRS releases your refund.    The IRS Where's My Refund site will not take into account the 5 days early, but if you signed up for the 5 Day Early product, you should receive your refund deposited 5 days prior to the date indicated by the IRS, assuming all conditions are met.   For more information click on the link below 5 Days Early Option   If you don't get your deposit 5 days early, there is a few reasons why that might happen.   Your refund was offset or differed from their estimated refund amount, bringing the refund amount below the minimum threshold or above the maximum. What is a refund offset? Your bank wouldn't accept RTP (Real Time Payments) or Same Day ACH deposits, preventing Intuit from depositing your refund 5 days ahead of when the IRS would have deposited your refund. The IRS didn't give Intuit 5 or more days of notice in advance. This stopped Intuit from meeting the 5 days early expectations. If TurboTax is unable to deliver the refund 5 days early, your order will be canceled and you won't be charged the 5-Day Early fee. You will receive a follow-up email with a refund and timing update, and if any cancellation is applicable.

The IRS uses your prior year AGI to combat fraud. Make sure you take into account the information below.   You can find your 2024 Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) by: Looking at line 11 on page 1 of your 2024 Form 1040 Requesting a transcript of your 2024 tax return from the IRS. You can request your transcript online at the following link: Get Transcript Please click on this TurboTax article for more information.    Check these items as well to ensure you have the correct number.  If you:  Filed late last year after mid-November or your return was processed after that time—try entering 0. Amended your return last year—make sure you’re using the AGI from your original return, not the amended one. (If you only have a 1040X form, it’s on line 1, column A). Rounded your AGI to the nearest dollar—be sure to round up when it’s 50 cents or more and down when it’s 49 cents or less. Filed with your spouse last year—you and your spouse have the same 2024 AGI. (Don’t split the AGI amount or enter  0  for one of you).   Time-saving Tip: If what you entered is correct and you continue to get a reject, you won't be able to e-file. There's probably a data mismatch at the government, or some other situation beyond your control that prevents your return from being e-filed. In this case, your only option would be to print and mail in your return.    This article will give you instruction on how to print and mail your return.
The watermark will be removed once the CRA has finalized the forms. Your feedback has been noted and will be forwarded to the appropriate department.   Thanks for choosing TurboTax.

Unfortunately, if you do not have a Canadian/North American phone number, you have no other option for contacting a tax expert. This is a fundamental rule for communication that we cannot ignore.  There is no other option than to use TurboTax Online/DIY products to prepare and file your return without the assistance of a tax professional.
