Pension plan income is not earned income.
do you mean bank accounts, because Turbo accounts themselves can not be linked?

@duyuustc I sent my 6013 revocation in March 2025 and I confirmed that IRS received it but still till to this day, I keep receiving letters once every 3 month from IRS telling me that they need more time to process my request. How long does it take to process a simple 6013(g) revocation? Have you received your confirmation of revocation or should I expect to wait much longer? Thank you
check out deductib.ly - seems like a decent replacement and $20/year is not going to break your piggy bank
@20ttbsfedandst    I'm almost 100% positive Turbotax is not available thru the Microsoft store

if online or desktop is being used for both years, open the 2024 return to ensure it has the data. if so you'll need to contact support because the data should transfer unless you started 2025 and are now trying to transfer. the transfer must be the first thing done when starting 2025.   if you used online for 2024 and are using 2025 desktop, the .tax2024 must be uploaded to the desktop.     5am-5pm Pacific Time (8-8 Eastern) Monday - Friday https://support.turbotax.intuit.com/contact 800-446-8848
I have a small hobby farm and was wondering if I could deduct my costs for the livestock and I also sold some fresh eggs. If so, where do I put this when doing my own taxes?

I am a resident of Upper Makefield Township in Pa which has a 1% tax on Earned Income. Would payments from an Unqualified Pension Plan be considered Earned Income? The information I have found on line is not conclusive and I am having trouble getting a definitive answer on this. And neither the township or the tax collector has been of help.   Thanks.

Do you know  that SS looks back 2 years to determine your IRMAA?  So for 2026 they use your 2024  MAGI.  Your 2025 MAG will be used for 2027 SS payments.   On my letter from Social Security for IRMAA it uses your AGI plus tax exempt interest on 1040 line 2a.  See this,  it has the brackets at the bottom https://secure.ssa.gov/poms.nsf/lnx/0601101010   It seems I got a free year from IRMAA.  My husband died in 2023 and I filed Joint for 2023 then Single for 2024.  They didn't take any IRMAA out of my 2025 SS checks  (based on 2023)  but for 2026 they are taking out over $500/month for IRMAA in addtion to the standard $202.90.     In November did you get a SS letter saying how much they  will take out in 2026?  Here is my letter.  2026 is based on your 2024 tax return.  It says these IRMAA are effective for 2026 only.   If you file MFS separately  the IRMAA may be a lot higher for each person when they figure it for 2027.
For investments, you can use TurboTax Desktop Premier or TurboTax Online Premier. That will cover all of the financial requirements you need to file your taxes.   Thank you for choosing TurboTax.

Thank you!. After your post, I decided to ask the software to create a new tax return, and I was able to import the old one.  Thanks for your answer, made me think of a solution.

Are you using the Online version or the Desktop installed program?   You can not delete an Account.  There is not a delete function, just a clear.  For Online to delete your info try this article, scroll down to How to Delete your data https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/accounting-bookkeeping/request-delete-download-intuit-data/L9pTFjwSB_US_en_US?uid=m1qr3f3k   For the Desktop program you can start a new return, go up to File-New.   You can delete a tax return from within the TurboTax Windows Desktop Program on the very first screen after starting the program or go to File-Open. Click on the large square icon representing the file you wish to delete (avoid clicking the blue "Continue" button). Then just hit your delete key and answer the prompt. OR Start the program and on the first page click the blue "Find a Tax File" link at the bottom right of the box. Then in the list that pops up you can right click on the file and choose delete. Or you can delete it from Windows. You can delete the wrong return like any other file on your computer. The tax files end in .tax2025 or .tax2024 etc.  and should be in your Documents folder and then in a Turbo Tax subfolder. Or search your computer for all .tax or .tax2025 files.

Not only have they discontinued it - they have deleted all user data permanently (I spoke to customer service to confirm this stunning fact).  Intuit sends so many SPAM emails all year long that I pay no attention to them until tax season.  I thus totally missed the announcement that Its Deductible would be discontinued on an arbitrary date that is well before Dec 31 AND that user data would be non-recoverable after this time.  This has to go down as one of the worst business decisions of 2025.   Intuit is clearly a company that does not care AT ALL about its customers and one that is run by incredibly stupid executives.  Here's the "Moron Trophy" for the exec who made this decision 🏆 - well deserved!

@TurboTaxAniqua thank you. I have bought Canada Turbotax 2024 desktop licence but there is no option to “Transfer from TurboTax Online” or “Import → TurboTax Online”. I canno find button "import". My idea is to 1) To create a local .tt24 file and 2) then open it in 2025 desktop version. @TurboTaxAniqua Can you guide me?
How do I actually get last year's numbers to populate this year's return?
I am retired, and have RRSP/RIFFs in mutual funds from which I receive income along with CPP and OAS. I am issued T3, T5, and T5008 slips.  Which online and desktop product should I use?
