I spoke with someone earlier from customer care about Win10 topic and asked about ItsDeductible, she said it only had 100k users which was why they shut it down vs. the cost to maintain. The October 21st-ish shutdown date felt random but it falls 7 days after the extension filing deadline which is when they shut down e-file for 2024 start to refresh the online platform with changes for 2025 filing season. So far there seem to be at least 4 apps vying for this 100k user space - Deductible Duck, Deductit.io, Deductib.ly and Kebab (others? - running out of name variations); plus folks moving to HRB or just using Excel. I would be surprised if there is room for all 4 to survive. I don't think anyone has a working upload to Turbotax yet. @DeeDuckDave commented on that in this thread below https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/taxes/discussion/re-an-alternative-to-itsdeductible/01/3708354#M1372215 "Right now, you can directly add the numbers from Deductible Duck into the Deductions and Credits interview section (and for most folks, it's not a lot of numbers to add) so that's definitely one way, and you can also edit Schedule A directly, so that's another option as well. We'd like to make that better and more like what it is now, of course. We have the CSV import format and will be testing that here shortly, so we should have a reasonable integration by the start of 2026 for sure. We will keep everyone updated on this, it's clearly a big question on everyone's minds."
